COOKIE POLICY
Last updated September 30, 2025
This Cookie Policy explains how
ekkos (“
we,” “
us,” or “
our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on
https://ekkos.io and any website or application that links to this notice (the “
Services”).
It should be read together with our
Privacy Policy.
We perform limited,
cookieless measurement before consent for basic traffic statistics. Analytics cookies are used
only after you choose
Accept in our banner. We do not use Google Signals or ads personalization.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work or work more efficiently, as well as to provide analytics. Related technologies (such as pixels, local storage, and SDKs) also help us recognize your device and track interactions.
2. HOW WE USE COOKIES
We use cookies to:
- ensure the Services function correctly and securely (e.g., load pages, keep you signed in);
- remember your preferences (e.g., cookie choices);
- understand how people use the Services so we can improve performance and features;
- measure the effectiveness of our pages and product messaging.
We do
not build advertising profiles or run behavioral advertising on ekkos. See “
Google Analytics” below for details on our analytics configuration.
3. TYPES OF COOKIES WE USE

4. GOOGLE ANALYTICS
We use Google Analytics in a privacy-hardened way to understand aggregate usage and improve ekkos. We configure GA4 with IP anonymization and disable Google Signals and ads personalization features. Before consent, GA operates in a cookieless mode (Consent Mode defaults denied), so no analytics cookies are set until you accept.
You can control Google Analytics via:
For details on how Google processes data, see the
Google Privacy Policy.
5. HOW TO MANAGE YOUR COOKIES
Consent banner: On your first visit (and periodically thereafter), you can choose which non-essential cookies to allow. You can also revisit preferences at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.
Browser controls: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Services may not work. Instructions: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge (see each browser’s help pages).
GPC/DNT: Where supported by your browser, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track (DNT) by defaulting analytics to a denied state until you choose to accept. You can change your preferences anytime via “Cookie Settings.”
6. REGION-SPECIFIC INFORMATION
EEA/UK/Switzerland
We only set non-essential cookies (e.g., analytics) with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie Settings.” Our legal bases for processing are described in the
Privacy Policy.
United States
Some U.S. state laws define certain analytics/advertising technologies as “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising.” We do not run behavioral ads on ekkos; however, to the extent our use of Google Analytics were deemed a “sale”/“share” under applicable law, you can opt out using the controls in this policy and the options in the
U.S. Privacy Rights section of our Privacy Policy.
7. UPDATES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where required, request your consent again.
